Retro plans for 2013.

What have you got planned for 2013?


I'm hoping to get my Ibis and Klein builds finished. After that I've a few things in the wings including the 20th anniversary of my first mtb which I still have, I've back burnered this since joining the site but 2013 is as good a year as any to get it back together.

Apart from that getting the mancaves sorted is the next priority, I've been threatening this as well for a few years too.

So what are you up to or hope to get done?

Sort the new man cave out and finish at least one of my builds. Aiming low to avoid failure

Get the decal set for the '87 Killi Flyer ordered from gil_m get the wheels trued and tensioned and get it finished.
Then ride all my bikes some more.
Only things that may divert me would be a Muddyfox Prestige Pro or Explorer or a Raleigh Lightweight in my size.

I need to try and deal with the following........

1. Get out and ride more often.

2. Sort out the man cave and sort a good method of hanging the bikes on the wall.

3. Try not to buy anymore bikes. Seven bikes are more than enough for a small man cave.

4. Sort out the roof rack on the car once and for all, muddy bikes in a saloon car is just no cutting it anymore. :roll:

Not really retro, but I'll be building at least 3 frames in 2013 hopefully.

Stop farting about with bikes and ride them more often.

Alternate rides to work between road bike and single speed MTB to get the fitness levels better.

Do something at last with my DeKerf.
Build activator mk2.
Finish my fish pond which has taken 3 years so far.
Learn how to weld better than I currently can.

Buy a house with a garage so I actually have space for some retro again!

Get my yeti done,
Finish my other 93 gt rts1 to cat spec...
Then sell it!
Look for a titanium gt around a 92/93 model I think
Clear out all the parts I have that we're bought for a build but I changed direction.
