I think I know the answer to this but need to check and am generally not sure of the correct terminology.
My brake cables need to attach the right hand side of the caliper (as looking at when riding). However I want to set it up so that the right brake lever operates the front as that's what I'm used to with my modern bike.
Given these levers have the cable coming out of the top, I'm guessing I can't do that and the cables have to cross in order to maintain sufficiently shallow angles? Perhaps I have Continental calipers or something.
(Note that a correct period look is important)
Andrew.
