Restoration help/advice needed

I have stripped my Raleigh Record Sprint Mk1 completely and I am preparing the frame for painting. My questions is about whether I should remove the brass had badge, if so where would I get small rivetts to refit it. (Removing would also make painting it easier). Also the should I remove the bottom bracket cable guides. This seems to be only held by a pop rivet so I could re-fit using the same it it is strong enough?
Any help greatly appreciated as I am getting close to having the frame and forks sprayed.

File off the rivets of the head badge from the inside and keep, drill out the pop rivet for the BB.

You can buy new rivets for the head badge but a dab of silicone adhesive for the badge and a smidge of epoxy to hold the rivets and it will look like it did.

Head rivets are available on ebay but mine needed to be made shorter as they met the steerer tube.
