I bought a 2000 Trek 6000 WSD (s) frame at a local garage sale. It was stripped, and I mean completely right down to the brake posts. 5 bucks.
It was tossed it into the garage and forgotten about. Fast forward to this past summer. Surfing the local list of craig I come across a beater with some parts that might be suitable for the Trek frame. XT brakes, LX cranks a may of '89 XT front derailleur diverted to another project, an XTR rear derailleur (Short cage) a Rock Shox Judy, an XT headset + stem and bars. The wheels are Matrix Swami's with RDX-RC38A rear hub and RDX-C-RC front hub. They are pulls from a badly dented Trek zx7000
I sourced a matching set of front and rear m750 derailleurs from the bay of e for under 60 dollars including shipping I was ready to assemble.
