replacement elastomers for bombers?

I've just determined the forks on my lastest project are 97 bombers Z3 and they use a coil spring / elastomer combo.The elastomers are shot in both legs .


Is it possible to get replacement elastomers for these forks ?

Two options for you, first is to mail Slim on here as he can get elastomers and may be able to get some custom ones for you. Secondly you could try suspensionforkparts.net in the US as they supply elastomers for other forks and can do custom ones too. I'd try Slim first as he'll be cheaper.

Just get the correct springs for yourself. In fact the elastomers should be in there being bombers.

I thought exactly the same as you and then had a look at the 1997 Z3 manual and sure enough they use elastomers, must be the only bomber that does.

I was quite disappointed when I stripped them to find the elastomers and no damping cartridge.

I'll try a pm to slim but I've got a feeling that the cost might not be worth it so they might just go on the bay
