Replace chainring on Alivio 5 bolt

Hi!
I'm looking to replace the 3-in-1 Alivio chainring on my beater with a 1x but can't seem to find anything that fits. According to my calculation (measured the distance between bolts to be 40mm, multiplied with 1.701 makes it a 68 bcd).

Has anyone replaced a chainring on these and know where I can get one?

Looking for T36 to 40.

Aside from finding a set of identical replacement rings, I only know of two options:

1. Pace did a spider adapter that allowed the use of standard rings.

2. Change the chainset.

I'd go for option B.

Alivio is a funny one, as you've discovered and finding replacements for it nigh on impossible, but as it's only a mid range crank, maybe wise not to bother and go for something with easy to get rings. 110mm bce.

I thought the spiders for these were only limited to the XT and LX versions, and the spider was made by shimano, not pace. Personally I cant see Pace making something fitted a mid range crank :? There'd be too many options

No spider fits these, the 'spider' is integrated into the drive side crank arm much like cranks of old. The pace spider bolted to the existing chasing ring holes and fitted around the rest of the crank, providing more standard ring bolt holes.

I always thought it strange pace made something cnc and anno for these cranks. Must have been a reason?

Ha- I have the same chainset, and a Truvativ 28 tooth (currently available for about a tenner) fits, and yes I did find it too low for general use.. I'm looking for an alloy BMX disc-type chainwheel that could be drilled to fit, 32 or 34 teeth, ideally- haven't seen one that fits the bill (and budget) though. Shame, cranks are a nice shape and hate to scrap them.. Ah, the disposable society..
