Hi, i am looking for any advice and tips/tricks for removing dried and mashed up elastomers and the spacers from Quadra 21r forks. I am used to Judy's but the Quadra's from what i understand can only be seperated by first removing the elastomer stack to access the bolt!?
There lies my problem. Just trying to service a pair to find dried mashed elastomers. I have got the first 1 and a bit out each side but obviously getting trickier the further i go down
Is there any tricks to getting them out or is it just a case of a longer screwdriver and patience? neither which i have at the moment :roll: any thing i could pour down the tubes to ease the process? etc
