Reg harris

Wonder if the new book will tell the 'true' story of how Reg won the 1974 British Championship ?????
And what happened when he tried again the next year ???

Perhaps you'd better ask William and see if he knows?

Reg Harris Heritage day + Cycle jumble.

Well! I was really disappointed at the low turnout of people. :?
Yes it was bank holiday W/E. Cycle stalls were very few.
As usual I managed to pick up several bargains!!
The Reg Harris story was great. One can't help think
that if he was about today, with all the modern,
scientific training had he been any faster??
My son was most impressed with the new scalectric!!
All in all a good enjoyable few hours!!
66ich fixed.
Keep cycling happy!!

aww i wish i'd read this, my dad was out of the country but he is always complaining about how his reg harris got stolen out of his garden in london back when he was younger...would have been nice to go along to see all the stuff.

It was great unfortunately was with my girlfriend so I only stayed for the jumble.. Missed out on a few bargains, Merckx track frame, resprayed Gazelle road frame and Stan Pike road bike being notable exceptions..

Got myself some new tubs though ;)

Anyone get anything interesting?

Ah so was that yours then? I was the young lad enquiring about it, knowing full well it was far too big for me!

Nice little build it was too..

No, not mine. I just know who bought it. I'd been admiring it myself but it was to small and I've got to many bikes as it is!

I meant I was only there to sell - NOT to buy!
