Bit of a project from a mate, but I have no time to do anything creative with this now. "Upgrades" are how a received it...
It is a bit of a mish-mash of parts (including the hacksawed upside down shifter to work with the Deore disc) and as such not everything is pre '96. Running 7 speed STX and most parts in good condition
Good bits:
Tange double butted frame - few scrapes/chips but very little rust
Some bling bits
Bearings all smooth (headset, hubs, BB)
Forks tight and smooth (not a lot of damping though)
Tyres in good cond with plenty of wear
Deore disc
Bad bits:
Front shifter does not shift onto big ring
Hacksawed rear shifter
Wheels could do with a tweak with a spoke key
Difficult to price! £220ono for starters... --> £180??
