red /ti hope hubs

i bought these thinking they were for a mtb but the rear is 130mm wide so there defo for a road bike

both bearings f&r are smooth but the rear are slightly smoother ? freehub is fine too also no cracks anywhere

i paid £55 posted so just looking to get that back

Can you not just get a 135mm axle from Hope and use them? (and small extra spacer)

just changed a MTB 136mm rear to 130mm by taking 6mm off the one side

that looks like an old campag 8 speed freewheel, which can be converted to 9 quite easily

You could possibly put the longer none drive side spacer (CRC sell them) on the rear hub if there is 5mm of axle left and then a few mm more to make it easy to put in the wheel.

orbeas, it's a standard hope shimano compatible Ti freehub and 8 speed (so 9 and 10)
Though in the campag connection design, though it's not Campag spline compatible.


Anyways, as much as I really want these, I've just bought some other hubs and cannot justify them... been mulling over since this morning.

they have 10 grooves these look like they have 8 (campag 8 speed)

have changed mine over to shimano ??

campag look a lot different ? they are deeper and have angled in sides ?

In order to run Campag you'd have to change the freehub.
The rear is for a Shimano cassette.
