Looking to send a large (20kg,150x30x85cm) parcel to Guernsey.
Trying not to strip the bike too far as it's only just been put together and would prefer to leave the back wheel in.Front wheel/stem/bars/seatpost/pedals removed. It seems the size exceeds the limit for a lot of the regular parcel services.
Did find quotes from DHL-£257,UPS-£374
Never sent large items to the Channel Islands, expected to pay more but seems a lot.
Anyone else had this issue and found a good solution?Have a guy waiting for the bike he wanted since he was 13!

Thanks for the responses! £210 through Parcelhero,definitely an improvement,appreciate that nicktait1 👍
Just tried bikedelivery but seems to be a problem with the quote page at the moment, will drop them a line if it continues. Thanks nstarmore!👍
Have had a lot of issues with parcels delivered with myhermes so won't go there.Only ever used ParcelForce myself so it's good to have some tried n tested info.

That's great, will give them a go,much appreciated! 😁 Was getting a bit frustrated but looking a bit more hopeful thanks to the input.
Was actually considering the road trip option, see if my nose actually does drop off if I go too far South. Was never too sure on my Mum's wisdom.I imagine they'll be picking the pineapples this time of year🍍👌🌴🌞🦒

I've used these a few times now and always worked out well, one of which I had sent to NI and was about £50 iirc
Used them too and never had an issue, sent two bikes and received three, reasonable pricing and reliable prompt service. I like the fact that they will send a box prior to collection (for a fee), helped me to persuade a couple of 'collection only' sellers to send the bikes to me.
