Really really stupid question 🙃

IF you want to keep it going, another approach would be to:
1 Drill stop holes at the end of the cracks.
2 Rub down the area and use carbon fibre to make a reinforcement.
 
IME, of steel & titanium rather than aluminium - cracks can turn from OK to catastrophic pretty quickly. Like within a couple of rides. Weld repairs can be as good, if not better than previously though.
 
Suppose the frame is a solid purchase for anyone that's ever wondered what it feels like to be roasted on a spit, there's a whole subculture of cannibal fetishists that'd be over this like a boiled egg after starving in the tundra for 4 weeks
 
On a serious note, I wouldn't ride his frame.

This is coming from a guy who's currently riding a steel frame with a cracked seat tube.
