In some ways great to see a frame someone has ridden hard and a lot!

I don’t think a neat welded repair would look out of place on that frame. There’s so much wear on the rest of it in a good way.

If you need the hanger, the frame ends up being a cheap piece of wall art, win/win!

A zaskar was very hard to kill, usually via leverage such as massive forks or over long seat post / not enough seat post in the frame

If you can’t fix it with gaffer tape, you aren’t using enough gaffer tape

For a cracked frame you're going to need ty-wraps and gaffer tape!

6061 alum needs post-weld heat treatment, which would be a right faff even if possible and not really cost effective
