This is a possible Carter and Hall Bike know as Carhill Portsmouth light weight bikes. 1950 to 1980. Many frames were bought from Witcomb, Bob Jackson and Leaders.For past weeks study these bikes and find that Witcomb bikes are a match. Is this a Witcomb racing bike. Fitted with no decor but cant really say its been resprayed.Looks original. Fitted with Campagnolo Rear Drops. Dura ace Chainset. Crane Dura ace rear and front derailleur. Mafac Brakes. 700 Rigida Wheels . Cant explain the vintage time trial Bars. 5 speed at rear and 2 in front. Serial no 42859.Will be grateful for your help.
