Hi all,

My Roberts has the hanger sawn off. I have one of those hangers which bolt through the dropout slot but it limits your ability to put the wheel right back into the dropout which I need to do to mount any tyre bigger than 23c. Im hoping to get this frame resprayed and refurbished but probably a couple of years off so looking for the best intermediate solution. Seems like there's a few different jobbies, any pointers on the best solution?

Its possible to silver braze a hanger, campagnolo used to make one for this. With care the paint will only be burnt on the lower part of the drop out, possibly slight discolouring further up the dropout.

Thanks Keith, I'm hoping to hold off on any surgery until I can refurb the frame it's pretty rough, two top tube dents, bb stripped etc. Chromed forks, dropouts and chains tay so won't be cheap
