Re: Re:

I am intrigued by the Paris Galibier frame layout, also a nice and rare bike btw. Can you feal any flex from the none-triangulated bottom bracket when pedaling?[/quote]

Out on it yesterday for the first time this year {about 25 miles} . Main issue is it only has 5 gears so i pick my route . Not many hills . It rides well overall, rolling along on 27x1 1/4 wheels, tyres . Using the lowest gear on small climbs I tend to remain in the saddle rather than honking . Imho this keeps the bike more stable and avoids flexing the bb . The Mafac c/p brakes really need the pads replacing with cool stop ones .
The grin factor makes up for any short coming the bike may have .

I voted for you lovely machine Mr. Bagpuss as its something different.

Saw this one at bespoke last Friday .

Condor cycles now build them.

Not sure that the design lends its self to Modern components . I think new retro would look more in keeping . Down to personal choice though .

Thank you all. The Zeus rides great but I ride it rarely. The Reynolds SL tubing is very thin and fragile and I am loathe to damage it. It is also now wearing 28 spoke wheels which are also a bit fragile.
