Vintage Raleigh Twenty FE (fully equipped) shopper ripe for restoration. Bought as a project and I have begun to clean up the parts. New red handlebar grips and red alloy seat post fitted. All original parts removed for restoration included (mudguards, seat post, rear parcel tray, dynamo light set, brake cables etc) along with all nuts, bolts, cable clips, etc.
The frame and forks are structurally sound with little rust. The front wheel and front brake have cleaned up nicely, tyres are holding air and although showing some sidewall cracking, still have the little molding nubs on them. Original Brooks sprung mattress saddle is in good condition with no rips and the rear parcel tray is intact with no cracks. I had intended replacing the original gear cable outer with orange cabling so will include this along with the original fitted cable, and also a new Sturmey Archer cable anchor adjuster to enable gear outer replacement.
Looking for £30 collected from Newport (NP20) or happy to box up and ship within the UK for £50.
