Raleigh Twenty and more for Free!

I have a pretty good twenty going for free.

It has all the usual bits 3spd hub, hub dynamo, big 20" wheels (not BMX size)
Works OK but will need new tyres and inner tubes soon. Non folding.

Mr Sheldon Brown himself reckoned they were prime for conversion into compact road bikes for the taller gent. Google raliegh 20 and you can see some pretty cool conversions.

Food for thought.

I bought a Raleigh Solitaire off eBay for £1.03. Proper barn find, even still had spokey dokeys on it.

It rides so well, it is the office bike for trips to the bank and for food supplies.

Happy it is part of my 'collection'.

Everyone should own a shopper style ride.

So Some Guy has dibs on the twenty. There is still a random gold folder going. And I know that my Dad has a Twenty he might be pursuaded to part with. £25 should convince him (not posted). Pick up prefered.
