Rather nice in parts, a bit tatty in others. A 1989 example based on the rider, any experts out there think this is a Raleigh built bike rather than a Cyfac built one? The seat stay arrangement and brake bridge don’t look like the French manufacturer’s version.

Price is perhaps ‘ambitious’!

Ha...I hadn’t spotted that, you’d struggle to justify the asking price even if it was Fignon’s bike.

I think it’s a Raleigh frame rather than a Cyfac one, the cyfac ones I have seen details on did not have SB numbers and it would make no sense to stamp an SB number on one of their frames.
It’s a lovely frame either way though, but as said it’s silly money

If it was Fignon's bike, it would be easily worth that money and more.

What bothers me is the crack at the seat lug arrangement - the seller says it just a paint crack, but for that money, as you say, I'd need it to be perfect and crack-free..of any kind!!

Some what over priced in my mind. It does appear to be a Raleigh built frame with is SB frame number.
