Raleigh Record Sprint of Raleigh Elan ?

As per title everyone, still looking for a 80's Raleigh thats mid spec, 60 or at a push 62, in good nick ie doesnt need a paint job.
Was hunting for a Corsa but cant find one .. so..

Raleigh Elan or Raleigh record sprint.

Which would you buy and why - I guess the question should be,which is the best ?

To be honest, I don't think there is anything between a Record Sprint and an Elan spec wise

However, the Record Sprint is something of a 'cult' bike, and personally that's the direction I'd go in
