Okey cokey here goes

I bought this Raleigh M-trax as it was a bit of a boyhood dream, with the hope of upgrading and using on a few trails etc.... but turns out a 17.5" frame does not go well with a 6ft1 guy...so its got to go unfortunately as its just too short....

Its pretty much as God intended except it has Weinmann rims on 'basic' Shimano hubs, but does come with the original wheels (Alivio hubs).

It also has some suspension forks that seem to be of good quality, but I cannot find any more info than I have on them (including box and instructions). Again, the original forks are included (as new!).

The only other thing is it seems to have had an STX-Rc rear mech fitted, the rest is Alivio. All works well except the 'indicator' in the window for the 7 speed side does not want to move, though it does shift fine. That said the gears could do with setting up Ive just put a new cable on - If I get chance (and it stops raining) Ill get this done...

Im looking for now 80 pounds for the lot collected, or 122 delivered (quote using Paisley) - happy for you to use another courier and arrange if you would rather.

Its in good condition for its age, the odd bit of rust on bolts here and there but nothing major - pretty much good to go if your a bit smaller than me!!

payment cash on collection or paypal gift please (or add 4%)...

thanks !

Re: Raleigh M-Trax Ti1000

I sold my mttax 1000 chromo recently on eBay for £100 and it needed a lot of work. On that basis I reckon this is a good price. Seems like sales are just slow at the moment. I am very tempted! If you can't sell this I would be in a position to buy at the end of September, I miss my one! PM me if you still have it in September!

Re: Raleigh M-Trax Ti1000

hi mate will do ... ill see how it goes... Im reluctant to put it on Ebay cos Ive had enough of their ripoff fees!!....

Re: Raleigh M-Trax Ti1000

I know... Let me know if you are still trying to sell in September, wish I had funds now!

Re:

Nice! Much life left in the rims/brake tracks (either set!)? I want something cheap (but not run of the mill!) for winter.

Thanks.

Re: Raleigh M-Trax Ti1000

Rims are in good nick... set on it are the best hardly any wear.... set the gears up and its good to go...
