She said she needs it for a few days to get the colour right. If all goes well I should pick up the frame as is, with a tin of touch up paint. She's not painting it. I get the pleasure of that.

I know most of the damage is hidden but I want to make as good a job of this as possible without losing the character of the bike.

Glad you're keeping the paint, looks a great project, the gran sport seems to be rarest of the Raleighs from that period. Be interested to see how close the paint matching lady gets.

They do seem to be rather rare. Those Team colours are as common as a bag full of common things left on Horsell Common and found by a commoner...
