Anyone got more information about the Raleigh Fervent? The article above is the only on-line I have found (22 years old!).
Where I work this was thrown in the bins and even though I am more into classic road I couldn’t let it happen.
It is a 7- speed freewheel, and guess what? The axle was snapped. The front brake caliper was seized. The tyres shot. Repaired those to see if I liked it and I did, it is a nice ride and I have become attached to it.
So it will have to get in the que for strip down and sort out. I do have another bin rescue with one of those new fangled 8-speed cassettes that I could put on. Too modern? Lol.
