Bought a few months ago to achieve a teenage dream of having a titanium bike, but have realised its too small so am looking for a 18 inch version.
Bought in a unused state, but it turned out to be a very low mileage bike in great condition after my overhaul. Brake blocks were original, as are the grips, there is no chain suck, nor chain slap, the chain rings are very good with no rub marks on the crank arms. It was definitely a bought and stored bike.
Its a Raleigh full titanium ARC welded frame, Titanium bars, Cro mo forks/stem and the Dynatech seatpost.
I have:
- Removed every component and cleaned oiled and greased.
- Changed cables and cable straddles (?), loosened the BB and then re-tightened, bought new brake blocks, removed the bar ends (one was seized bolt).
The bike has a full STX special edition groupset and Bontrager rims.
