Question Ovation Crankset from Marin Rocksprings

Hi

Just won these on eBay for the mighty sum of £1.20

Listed as

OVATION LIGHTWEIGHT CRANK WITH CHAINRINGS VGC

Seller stated that it came from a Marin Rock Springs

I've had a look on Bikepedis and found that the Crankset came as standard on the 2000 model.

Forgive my ignorance but I've never heard of 'OVATION' as a manufacturer can anyone shed some light on them for me.

Thought they might be handy as a spare set to have in the garage for a 'rainy day build'

It's Marins own Brand (OEM) as in MARIN-OVATION, you have to say it for it to sound right, the people from Marin think its Hilarious! Idiots!
