I've got this beauty into my collection recently and I want to start this time a nice restoration thread, with all the findings , learnings, problems... To be honest, compared to other resto projects on the forum , this is going to be a simple one, basically a clean and grease process, plus sourcing a couple of nice components
I've not seen many Colnagos, so not an expert here, and just owned a beatiful Sport, but I'd say this is a Mexico ( no dimples on the stays) with a nice oem panto crankset. Surprisingly, fork is fully painted and I've not seen any similar when googling for it. Size is 51 cc x 53 cc. Not sure this was a standar size or it was built as per original owner's specs. I know the original owner raced with it several years, so he upgraded different components during early 80's. (not planning to reverse them as are part of the history of a racing bike!)
Now a first pic and I hope more will come as long as the project progresses....
