Progear - What? Who? Where?

Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about Progear bikes e.g. where they were made, or any information at all about the brand? I had a Comp Max many years ago & have recently acquired a Comp 9.0 which is very similar. It's a very cool looking frame with ceramic paintwork, fancy dropouts & tubing profiles.
