Proflex 950 or 750 seatpost size?

Hi

Can anyone confirm what is the seat post size I need? I measure about 28mm but is that right?

Hmm, every proflex ive see, has been 27.2.

This is 6,5, 7 series and the very latest frames.

Your frame not included so could well be 28.

Bikepedia says 27.2. Just measured mine with calipers and yep, as said above they're 27.2.

If you are using vernier cailiper then itll give the required accuracy, but not if using ruler.

If a ruler is all you have, wrap strip of paper and mark overlap, unwrap and measure distance between marms. Divide by pi.

A difference of 0.8mm will be 2.5 mm that is well within accuracy limit of a ruler.

Yep, just bought a cheapy kalloy type seatpost and 28.0mm fits perfectly.
