Friends of the finest (TR) steel bike made -
My vintage MTB new year resolution brought some tough criteria for 2021.
Therefore I wanted to carefully ask if there is a fellow who would be interested in buying my Annapurna project (1A14, 90-95% late 85 catalog replica)
It is a 21". I usually ride 20" Ritchey's (P-Models), this fits great. As the catalog says: purpose is Off Road or luxury city cruising.
Here some measures
Top tube:57.5cm
Seat tube:51.5cm
Standover:80cm
Steerer tube: 14.5cm
History and Project recap:
I got this frame via a recommendation from good friends in our community. Shortly after that, I got another tip, a brand new Annapurna fork. This got paint matched from berlin cycle art - really great work imho. Then the start for the parts began primarily a Deerhead group with some gem from the catalogue: Philwood hubs, Magura Shorty levers and the obligatory Avocet Racing II, minty XC post saddle and minty original ModQuad/Force tyres. see more detailed pictures in the second picture thread.
Here are the latest shots.
On pricing: 4000€ --> 3550€
(I know that's a loot money, but a more than unique opportunity to buy a piece of Classic Mountainbike history).
Shipping will be on top with DHL with enough insurance and perfectly packed.
She got built with love, it was a quite personal project for me and I´ll summarize all on my steelfightsback website, but the decision is made.
I´d be happy to find someone who would take care of her for the next decades. Therefore I can offer flexible payment and of course I´m happy to discuss any trade. For any further discussion on this I´d prefer to continue this via private message.
Best, Matt
