Arrived in the post today. Was nervous I might not win it on eBay but after tough negotiation the deal was done.

Original, in packet (with original price label) with 2, yes 2, NOS decals.

I was shaking as i opened the packet - I couldn't beleive this gem was now entrusted to me. I am honoured indeed.

But should I use for its intended purpose, to honour the original designers wishes?

Slight rant - if more people had used these then I wouldn't have the current problem that every 2nd hand retro bike I look at buying has a dented top tube. Muppets.

Never dented a top tube in my possession either. Although that has probably jinxed me now

The thing that usually dents top tubes is bars or brake levers. Can't see that being a problem on your Kona

Wow what a stunning piece of retro tat. Save it for when the crappy bike contest bonus points for crappy original BITD accessories.

The frame is a touch too big so it's main benefit will be protecting the family jewels. :-D
