You don't have a clue what you are talking about.

How have you survived this long on retrobike, when all you do is offer insults, arrogance and condescending comments.

Keyboard warrior

You have been here barely six months.

You have created a thread that was a bit clingy to say the least

You have had a go at ANYONE who doesnt agree with you.

Those badges next to my username were given to that username because of a positive contribution to something on the site, not for being the keyboard warrior but actively participating

The next part is more difficult - many of the members of Retrobike have met each other, they have seen each other dirty, filthy, drunk, sometimes naked and on very rare occasions, the bear suit.

It is now impossible to meet up at organised rides for the foreseeable due to the ongoing events

But, when this is all over, you are more than welcome to come to a ride, have a chat about old bicycle bits and anything else that tickles yer fancy.

Unfortunately, until that day happens, you will just have to fester in your own putrefaction as you will get angrier and angrier because there are people who will never see what you see, not without irrefutable proof.

Merry Xmas mate!

How’d you get the retrobike rider badge ?
Go on a meet ?

Yes but it isnt going to happen for a long time yet. See what happens during the spring.

There used to be a national rides calendar but interest tailed off a bit after a few of the guys that took the time to volunteer their time stepped away from the scene.

The Day in the Peaks was one of the last rides standing along with the lesser Gates Gates Gates! rides.

Obviously Mountain Mayhem was the biggy but that is all up in the air for the foreseeable

Im not an angry guy, far from it, it's clear me and you will never see eye to eye on most things.

And that's what makes us individual. You asked for evidence,Ibbz provided you with a snippet of some. But you chose to act the way you did. I have a problem with small mindedness though, which you have demonstrated.

I trawled back through your posts and clearly hit a nerve LGF
And now you have done the same ,so I deserve them comments. Credit where its due.

Anyway, merry Christmas and a happy New year :xmas-big-grin:

The bin monkey badge and the 'king of the skip Monkeys' appeared within about 6 weeks of me joining. They were bestowed on me by the site owner. I have no control over that. There are many others who have stuff added to their usernames.

Yes I haven't been on here long, haven't had the pleasure of going on a meet, would love to-unfortunately circumstances are against that. And I can't fault you for some of your content and contributions, you are a very knowledgeable guy in the bike field and others.
Give me time and I hope to contribute also, admittedly my knowledge on things retro are patchy at best! Every day is a learning day. But trust I love my retro mtbs as much as the next person.
I did chuckle over"my clingy at best thread" though, didn't realize I came across like such a nob...

Personally I enjoy learning, you can never know to much, I think it's shame you didn't take the time to investigate for yourself some of the vast quantity of information available. You will never find irrefutable proof,so to speak, but define irrefutable proof?

Like I've said before, there's enough division, let's act like adults, and agree to disagree. Anyway I've got work to do, I've been keeping an eye on this thread whilst trying to earn a living. Lol

On a plus side, all my expected packages (bar one) arrived all at once today. which must have a relief for the postman to unload. :xmas-cool: :xmas-big-grin:
