Why?

*Classic, timeless black livery

*No silly blocky Kona-logo

*No silly, childish jungle theme going

88-89 marin were cool. then pow Kona came along. so 89-90 for me, just because there was nothing out there like them at the time. they have a massive impact and they were great value. they naturally everyone ripped them off. soem of the later bikes were lgihter and more refined. but my 90 explosive is still a fav of mine.
