Pinarello Mountain Bike??

Need help with this frame. Not sure if it’s legit so I’m reaching out to you knowledgeable folks for helps identifying what this might be. Italian BB not sure if the fork is original.

not sure if this is a legit Pinarello

Pinarello Alumnium MTBs had been rather rare and I do only know the Rombo made with Oria Tubing (with typical Oria Alu drop outs) and a ovalized or changing diameter top tube (at least the diameter towards the seat tube seem to shrink)



The frame of the black one at your picture looks to me rather basic, with simple, straight tubes and cheaper welds.

The seat tube changes diameter at the top. I’ll see if my buddy can send better pictures

you may want to ask your budy also for pictures showing the rear end of the frame with the drop-outs.

It would be also interesting to know if the tube for the bottom bracket is 68 or 70mm wide.
