I agree with Kaiser, Pickle – hold out for an early '90s steelframe – pref an avalanche or a Karakoram one with a U-brake (so 92 or before). You'll love one of them

It looks in superb condition, look how new that XT rm looks. Very likely to sell for less than the sum of the value of its parts I should have thought, such is the crazy deranged world that is eBay.
Buy it, enjoy riding it, sell it in bits, make a profit, what is there to justify?
