Retro Newbie
Hello,

A Peugeot has come available near me and I was wondering if anyone could identify the model from the pictures and whether or not it is a decent bike. It is for sale for £120.

Thanks a lot.

is a good place to start as I did with an old PX10 frame I had a while ago (and wish I'd kept - sold that for £120 set up as a singlespeed  ).

Whatever you have there seems to be from about 1980ish - is that a Reynolds sticker on the downtube? If so then the three main tubes are 531.
If the Stronglight cranks are original then it's a high-end bike.

Definitely worth £120.

Over BB cable guides for the rear mech put it in my era, it looks in good nick for the age so that's a lot of bike for the money ....

Looks like a PKN10 to me, 80-82, does it say competition on the top tube near the seat?

It could be the same as this before I upgraded it, or ruined it, depending on your taste, purity.
