A 21" frame Peugeot Electra (model PR300 ) from 1989 with a purple-flecked frame and Shimano Exage gearing plus Mavic wheels.
The good: Shimano Exage 500EX/400EX/Action componentry, Mavic 190FB rims with decent Lugano tyres, everything works.
The bad: The seatpost is well and truly stuck. Saddle is also a bit loose and has marks, white Shimano hoods are marked.
Basically this is a hardly used Peugeot which has sat unused for almost 30 years apart from some more recent tyres and bar tape about 5 years ago.
This bike is probably far too good to strip for parts! Componentry is:
- Reynolds 501 frame in speckled purple
- Shimano Biopace 400EX 170mm crankset, 52/42 cranks
- Shimano 14 speed downtube shifters
- Shimano 500EX front and rear derailleurs
- Shimano Exage Action brake levers and brake calipers
- Mavic 190FB wheels, 700c size
- Schwalbe Lugano black and blue tyres
- Deda bar tape is intact
The frame has some rust marks but is otherwise fine.
