Peugeot 753 frameset 20.5" 52cm with campag headset

After tussling a decision on what frame to keep out of my Peugeot 653 and 753..The Z Colours of the 653 won though hence sale of this 753

This is either a Perthus Pro or Perthus as its got horizontal dropouts, I can safely assume it was bought as a frameset and not a complete bike as its fitted with a Campag headset, the complete bikes were Shimano equipped and the stack height of these is to low to fit a Campag thereafter (and the 753 Chorus had vertical drops...so not one of these either!!)

Although this is resprayed with no original stickers present, its definitely a 753 as the frame weight is 1667gms (the only other frame they did with chromed drops was the 531p and these are approx 1900gms)

Its in good condition and although some cable rub marks and scratches are present, it has no dings and other than just minor surface oxidising, is a really solid frame with unmarked chrome! The Campag headset is good and smooth too saving the hassle of finding a good used one to fit, and being a Campag, you've plenty of stack height options for the future too!

I ran Campag ergo 8 speed with 130 O.L.D rear wheel with this...it fitted perfectly with no bending of the stays at all, just nicely straight in...Perfect

Looking for offer around £160 plus postage at cost..or collection welcome too (SOUTH Midlands)

PS - I've got stacks of kit to help with a build..Cinelli Bars & Stems, BB's. Seatposts (this is a 26.8 btw) Period Turbo/Rolls Saddles , 8 speed Campag kit etc etc...Just let me know :D
