Paul hub: help me dat it puleeeze

Just got this Paul DDT hub. It's incledibly massive, doesn't accept quick releases and has a 1 inch hub axle. Can you date it?

1" axle, gotta be pretty late on.

can't ever remember seeing one anywhere, and i was current with stuff up to 96.
