This build will mostly be a commuter so I'm looking for parts as cheap as possible in case it goes missing on the Glasgow streets.

shifters, anything non-gripshift, 24 speed (but I've heard a 9-speed shifter will also work).
And at some point in the future I'll probably be looking for a rigid fork and/or a front disc wheel. Might buy now if there's one of either going disgustingly cheap!
