Too many projects on the go at the moment, so something has to give.
For sale is a 19” (C-to-T) Pace RC100 frame in good shape. Needs repainting and a very small ding on the top tube near the middle cable guide filling. All threads good, no cracks or suspicions of cracks. New cable guides ready to fit after painting. New decal set (not yet pictured). Project includes:
* Pace RC30 Reynolds 531 legs. Require Magura mounts fitting and canti mounts removing. @danson67 could do this in his sleep! Flat 1” crown included but not yet pictured.
* Bullseye cranks with correct length and diameter axle. Includes brand new press-fit bearings. No cracks or dents. Original to frame.
* Pace one-piece stem/steerer. Original to frame. Has side gussets whose purpose escapes me. Was planning on removing.
* Suntour XC-Pro Greaseguard hubs laced to Mavic 231 front and 261 rear. Rear wheel correctly dished for RC100 frame. 7-speed cassette included, skewers included (rear NOS skewer not shown but included).
* Suntour XC-Pro rear mech and thumbies, XC front bolt-on mech.
* Suntour XC-Pro seat post and black Turbo saddle (not yet pictured).
* Magura ‘Mountain’ Hydrostop brakes front & rear with correct Pace-machined bar clamps and original rectangular frame mounts. Working order with no leaks. Correct length hoses. In need of repainting in satin black with blue decals.
* Suntour XC-Pro 1” Greaseguard headset. Requires the top race to be reamed to 1” and new bearings. Bearing races very good condition. Includes crown race. Not yet pictured.
* Renthal shimmed bars. Uncut. Faded, so re-anodise or repaint. Not yet pictured.
* Foam grips. Not sure if they are Grab-On but look suitably old whilst still being useable.
* Specialized Ground Control tyres. Decent tread but ageing, so not recommended for riding, just show. Not yet pictured.
All the hard parts to find in one place! You’ll need some chainrings, a chain, some bolts and some pedals. Maybe some other bits ‘n’ bobs. I might even be able to find some of these things but don’t assume I can. Looking for £1350. Would prefer collection - that way there is no risk of damage by a careless courier and you can be sure of what you are getting.
