Now I know I won't be the first to come across this problem, but any recommended solutions?

My Pace is filthy with ground in dirt / grease where the externally butted tubes are. The frame is polishing up a treat but this bit is proving impossible to get clean! Any tips for getting out that ground in grime? I've tried Muc Off , degreaser, metal polish ...

If you mean the corners and nooks and cranies etc something like a lolly pop stick with a rag round the end with some metal polish on it, (what are you using ?, i'd recommend Autosol, T-cut also works well), failing that the dirt may just be too ground in and it's time to dig out the brillo soap pads.

I'm assuming the frame is bare polished alloy.

Yes, polished alloy - autosol working a treat on the flat bits so will try the lollipop stick approach and find an toothbrush for the welds

Cheers!

Jimmy's got some good tips, but it's really hard to get the real ground in stuff out of the external butting. My tip: Get it cleanish, then just go ride the thing. No one will notice when a. you're blazing past them and b. it's covered in mud. :D
