Despite repeated soaking for days and days with Gt85 and WD40 and applying lots of heat Im still struggling to get the shim out of my 95 P7..... any tips from you guys? Can’t pinch the top to squeeze it a bit either. Im hoping it’s not going to be the dreaded hacksaw blade scenario for hours
Appears to have the typical corrosion between the shim and seat tube only allowing the seat post to go in 80mm at a real push heavily lubed and don’t want to cut or trim the seatpost tbh.....
