Hi, I've got an Orange C16-R which is painfully close to completion, thought I had it all when it turns out my frame, seatpost and seatpost clamp aren't quite right.
The seatpost is 29.6mm (measured with calipers) and that fits nicely in the frame. The frame came with an orange branded silver seatpost, but that measures 34mm and then gets to just about 32mm when full tightened up.
The weird thing is, this has worked before! But that was using a 27.2mm seatpost and a 27.2mm -> 29.6mm shim.
The external diameter of the seatpost tubing (with paint) is 32mm. So seems like a pretty open and shut case. Does anyone know for sure what the original seatpost clamp size would have been, 32mm, 31.8mm? Better yet, does anyone have one to sell?
