Orange Alu Elite- what seatpost clamp

hi all, I haven't been on here for a while, 2nd child saw to that! I am looking to finish my Alu Elite though, and having done a bit of custom anodising (all of which I can't find since daughter came along...) I am looking for some advice- what seatpost clamp would an Alu Elite have been wearing bitd? I'd like to get something period correct on it and ideally a q/r if that would have been happening in 1992?

From previous experience (my '92 Aluminium 'O'), which was a 31.8 external and 27.2 internal? I had repro Ringlè on mine, maybe an old X-Lite might be relevant too...? Hope that helps, and get some pics up, everybody loves an ally Orange on here...!

Thanks for that. Just found an x-lite on ebay, but haven't seen any 34.9 clamps on here yet.

Not sure that you will like the Elite when it's done. For now, I'm not restoring the frame or decals so it looks knackered, but I have got good XTR and XT kit on it and then modern orange cables and grips. Oh, and an orange selle flite of course! It's also wearing chunky modern rubber at the moment. Needs finishing and I'll get pics up. Just have to find that bag of custom orange anodised bits now...

Any early 90's one will work as they came with a generic no name job from memory.
