Onza Rip and Rail

Hi all!
Just wondering what your thoughts are on the Onza Rip and Rail tyres?
Does anyone know when these were released?
To be honest, I don't remember them at all!
I picked up a nice pair at a very good price a while back now for my build...but having second thoughts as they need to be period correct ideally.

They're in the catalogues, say around 94ish maybe, to a bit later.

It's just nice to have some Onza tyres without paying porcupine prices ha ha

The 94 guess is probably when I bought them for the bike, stopped using them a few years back as the sidewall protective cover was starting to crumble after all the abuse, years, cleaning and degreasing. So threads could be seen. Still ridable but didn't use the bike much other than in winter at the time, for fun.

My absolute favourite tyre pair. Very aggressive and good in all conditions.
Those aggressive front side knobs though can tear off if you do a lot of edging and don't have good pressure in them. I still love them though.

+1. Brilliant tyres which were self-clearing of clayey / chalky putty. Ideal for the winter in SE England!

I have a RAIL on the fr of one of my bikes. Good tyre and period correct for the 94/95 era.
