On the blag?

Hey guys,

This might sound like I am on the blag here, well, I sorta am.
I am soon to be the local mountain bike instructor for our district scouts. Alot of the guys have thier own bikes but some others dont, so basically I was wondering if any of you guys on here had any part that you maybe dont want and arnt worth selling so that we can build up a small fleet. We have a couple of frames so far and a few bits but so far no complete bikes.

Im not asking for your brand new 08 Kona full suss or anything like that. Im not even asking for anything with two wheels or even a frame! All I ask is that if you have any spare odds n sods that are of no use (An old set of cranks, an old mech or even an old brake pad), If you could donate them it would be greatly appreciated.

I will happily pay any shipping costs and will even pay a little for some parts but as a charity we are on a shoestring. If any of you have anything that maybe of use please let me know.

Many thanks
G

PS. If this is against any forum rules, please let me know.

Hi

You may have seen that we are holding a Scrapheap challenge bike build at Mountain Mayhem this year, the finished bikes are being auctioned off for Charity so if we have any bits left over from peoples donations I'm sure we could help you out for a small donation to the charity. Don't suppose you're coming to MM ??

Hilts

PS - As a rule we don't object to part scrounging, if people are willing to get rid of stuff to you on the cheap or free then that's up to them..

I have the following available:

Ridgeback
Peugeot
Raleigh

All 21spd, serviced and rideable - just old, £40 each - thats less than a decent set of tubes/tyres from Halcrapfords.

I can deliver as I'm not that far away.

Hey there,

Not sure I will be at MM. Got quite a busy year coming up, what with either A levels or scouting events, thanks for the support though.

Mr. Fromage: I will speak to the person incharge later this evening and will get back to you.

Cheers

FYI:

I have now been given a provisional budget of £100 for which I have to prove that a Hardtail with front shocks is better and more economical than a £100 full suss that only lasts a few months.

Cheers

Got a trek 3700 frame, some stems and bars, and some other bits. you can have for postage and karma.
As an ex scout happy to help out
Cheers
