2 wheels are most people’s happy place on here. Whether it be powered or pedalled.
Completely understand e-bikes are another type of bike but struggle to see how they are more fun when they weigh as much as a pedal n pop.
You view climbs as a slog?
If we talking mtb climbs that’s half the fun. Picking a line and using skill to hop , power and scramble up it. Any climbs less than say 30’mins should be easily dismissed by a fit rider
Or you can just do a clarkson style “power” and get the same result I guess.
Can’t imagine many downhill mtb lines can be ridden faster on a ebike as once past 15mph you are left with a heavy lump that isn’t flickable or much fun.
Certainly in the Peak District or any trail centre it’s not the ebike riders at the front on the “knarly”descents ……
Not sure why you think all E-bikes weigh a lot, mine weighs 13.5 kg and if you don't like them don't have one.
Cynical? He's an ex pro downhill racer British champion and world cup winner. I genuinely believe that he lives his ebike. He's always been lazy as well.Haven’t watched that but I’m guessing a Warner (who’s paid by sponsors) on a dedicated E-bike platform says it’s amazing ?

I know very accomplished, and physically fit cyclists and triathletes who ride e bikes on recovery days or just for fun.
This idea that e-bikes are only for the infirm or people who somehow can't use an analogue bike is just wrong.
