Odd question ..... White tyres .... when do they look best?

A spur of the moment "thang" now sees me the owner of a rather funky pair of white Schwalbe RR tyres.

Now when is it okay to use white tyres

Not sure they would look acceptable on my CK?

the only time I've seen white tyres and thought ..yup they look cool..is only some single speeds/fixies and oldun style like the pashely guvnor but hey we all have different tastes.

don't listen to the blinkered haters out there, white tyres still look good.

I was happy with them on my old Klein..

IMHO you really need to ghost the whole bike and make it a theme of the bike for white tires to look good. Like the Klein the previous poster posted. They just always seem "off" when put on a non-white themed bike.

They look best without any mud stains on the tread & ideally on a cool old skool US built bike set against a Californian sky backdrop.

Anyone remember that pic of iirc dave Hemming skidding some white Porc rubber onto tarmac? It was in the 1st MBUK I ever bought.
