Hi folks, if anyone remembers my Super U/Castorama build they will have got the feeling I admire plucky French cyclists who ride/rode with flair and aren't afraid to attack from time to time. Of the recent crop of pros Frenchman Thomas Voeckler, in my opinion, has shown a certain explosive quality that has earned him several stage wins and in 2013 he was King Of The Mountains in that year's Tour de France.
So, and apologies for the carbon, maybe this Colnago C59 is a future classic? I managed to find the frame online and have since furnished it with a mechanical Campagnolo Super Record groupset and the correct Deda bars and stem. The saddle and pedals are due for a change and maybe the wheels when funds allow. I gather Colnago made a small batch of these to celebrate his win and Thomas rode one for the final stage in Paris.
