I'm pretty sure this is a later model, there doesn't seem to be much ovalisation on the top or down tube. It's defo had a re-spray that's for sure.

Your right but easier to tell with the rear mech routing being on the top tube.

Not necessarily - it's the same colour as a 1999 Caldera, it has the same dropouts, and it has many parts in common - forks, wheels, mechs etc.

A 1999 Caldera is quite a decent bike mind.

Dropouts are the same as my 98 caldera, and the cables are top tube routed on that too!
